He works colleges and clubs all over and loves stock bio lines. He headlines the Comedy Stop at the Tropica na in both Las Vegas and Atlantic city, The Comedy Castle in Detroit, Funny Bone South Bend, & countless other clubs and colleges from New York to L.A .\n\n\nDavid Dyer:  in comedy had to begin at a very early age.  Being t he youngest, least athletic, and third smartest of four boys born to his pa rents in Grand Rapids, MI, David grew up in a household where The Golden Ru le read, “Do unto others before they do unto you.”  Desperately needin g some sort of adaptation to survive in such an environment, David develope d a talent for exploiting his brothers’ flaws verbally and physically. A fter High School, David took his talents to Michigan State University where he found a home in the Theatre Dept.  He studied Acting and Directing and aspired to be one of the great Broadway directors of our time.  However, after realizing the amount of work such a ridiculous dream required, he cho se the easier and more stable route of stand up comedy.  He wrote five min utes of material, attended an open mic night in Lansing, MI, and headed dow n a path his parents and wife were expecting would have taken him a lot fur ther by now.  David Dyer has been performing Stand Up for thirteen years. He’s headlined at clubs and colleges all over the country and for busin esses and organizations of all sizes.  He’s worked with some of the best performers in the industry including Drew Carey, Lewis Black, Kathleen Mad igan, and Bob Zany, just to name a few.  He has contributed material to AB C’s Politically Incorrect and The Zany Report performed by Bob Zany on Th e Bob and Tom Show.  In the past, he won The Grand Rapids Magazine Comedy Joke Off, a competition that put him up against several other comedians as well as the top radio talent in West Michigan.
