The 11th Annual Brew Ha Ha returns with more than 40 breweries and 160 styles of beer, cider and meads plus 2 comedy shows held in The Dow Event Center Theater.

Tickets on sale to the general public will be available at Ticketmaster.com or in person at The Dow Event Center Box Office. The Dow Event Center Box Office is currently open Thursdays 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Fridays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please visit internal window #10 during that time.

Beer Sampling Tickets:

  • 1 Sample Ticket = 1 Beer Sample
  • 3 Sample Tickets = 1 Mead Sample
  • 8 Sample Tickets = Full Beer Pour

*Additional beer sampling tickets will be available for purchase at the event. $1 = 1 beer sampling ticket.

*Sample ticket sales will end at 9:30 p.m. Last pour is at 10:15 p.m.

Improvements Coming To The Dow Event Center Parking Ramp

To improve your entertainment experience, The Dow Event Center is in the process of renovating its parking structure across from venue. These capital improvements include repairing and replacing the elevators and lighting, and performing structural upgrades to the parking ramp.

While this is in progress, parking will be available at the following locations:

  • Dow Event Center front lot, 303 Johnson
  • 400 lot across from The Dow Event Center, 400 Johnson
  • Dow Event Center Parking Ramp
  • Delta College Lot

COMEDIANS

Who is 5’3″, runs an 8 minute mile, has performed for the US troops on the Comics on Duty Tour in places like Bahrain, Djbouti & Greece and also announces baseball for the Detroit Tigers? It’s the Famous Kevin Kramis!! Noted for his universal appeal, with stage presence and off-beat improvisations that captivate and involve audiences. Kevin works successfully before all kinds of folks from mature, discerning audiences at outdoor venues like DTE to the inmates at the super-maximum security prison in Mansfield, Ohio.

Kramis has opened for Tim Allen, Louie Anderson, Kato Kaelin Jeff Foxworthy, Judy Tenuta, Gabe Kaplan, Richard Jeni, Billy Gardell, Pointer Sisters, Michael Feinstein, Three Dog Night, Brian Setzer Orchestra, JJ Walker, Tim Lilly, John Heffron, Steven Wright, Jeff Hobson, and Ben Creed.

Camila Ballario is an Argentine-born comedian from Michigan. Voted ‘Best Comedian in Washtenaw County’ in 2020, winner of ‘Best of Fest’ at the 2021 Big Pine Comedy Festival, and ‘Best of Fest’ at Laugh After Dark Comedy Festival in 2022. Camila has been entertaining crowds far and wide with her fresh brand of stand-up, where she often joins her ideas with songs to give you a unique look into her perspective on the realities of being a woman in her 30s.

David Dyer Van Slooten has been performing stand-up at comedy clubs, theatres, and corporate events for over twenty-five years.  He’s worked with some of the best comics in the industry including Mike Birbiglia, Jim Breuer, and Lewis Black.  He’s been a contributing writer to NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “ABC’s Politically Incorrect”.  He’s a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated “Bob and Tom Show” and often appears on the roster for their “Friends of The Bob and Tom Show” comedy tour.  He has as DryBar Comedy Special called “Further Along than Anyone Expected” with over 1 million views.  At the age of 49, David became a Paid-On-Call Firefighter with Grand Rapids Township Fire Department and at the age of 53, became a Full-Time firefighter with that same department.  In November of 2021, he had the honor of being a presenter at the prestigious TEDx Detroit event where he spoke about his careers in both comedy and the fire service.

Chris Young is able to take real life experiences and turn them into laughs that maintain a clean but funny appearance.

His DryBar Special has millions of views. He was the winner of the TV20 Detroit “That’s Funny” Comedy Contest on MyNetwork, as well as a finalist in Dave Coulier’s “Clean Guys of Comedy/Unbleepable Contest.”

Steve Iott has headlined comedy clubs across the country for twenty-five years. No stranger to television or the concert stage, he has appeared on A&E, Comedy Central, and was the opening act for Bill Maher, Chicago, and Steven Wright. He can be heard on The Bob and Tom Show and NPR radio.
